I am a writer whose work explores how food unites people and influences the identity of a person, place, or culture. Inspired by gastronomes, horticulturists, and architects, I value simplicity but also appreciate being challenged and educated by their creativity and thinking, especially when there is a synergy or a confluence within these areas.

I received my MFA in Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University where my thesis was a collection of essays about food, travel, workplace relationships, and power dynamics.
